Bold, bright and beautiful, the FACE Stockholm Matte Lipsticks offer dramatic color-saturated coverage with true staying power. From stunning reds to feminine mauves and nudes, their matte lipsticks provide a non-drying formula with a high color payoff for all skin tones. Even better, these products are cruelty and fragrance free, made with Vitamins A and E, and are produced in the U.S.A.

We partnered with makeup artist and beauty blogger Sasha Colina of @sashathemua to swatch our favorite fall colors and show you the prettiest lip looks you can use to take your makeup game into the cooler months.

When the temperatures rise, there is nothing better than a chic boho braid to keep cool! This season, we are even more excited to incorporate one of our favorite 2017 trends into our boho braids, hair rings! These chic hair accessories shimmer and shine in the summer sun and we just had to try the look for ourselves. Check out our braid tutorial in the steps below to create your own boho braid using celestial hair rings!

1) Start with hair down and loose in a center part. Hair can be straight, wavy or curly depending on your preference. Part hair 1″ back from the hairline along the center part and then diagonally back towards the top of the ear. Clip hair that is not being braided from underneath so it is out of the way.

2) Dutch braid (basically an inside out French braid) hair away from the center part, down towards the top of the ear. Finish braiding to the ends of the hair and secure with a clear elastic.

3) Remove the clip from underneath the hair and use bobby pins to secure the braid over the hair toward the back of the head.

4) Pull out some wispy pieces along the hairline and loosen the braid for a boho look. Slightly bend star rings to open and place along the braid, tightening to close the rings. Finish with hairspray or surf spray as necessary.

We love how the hair rings elevate this cute braid into something totally trendy and special. Shop for hair rings and some of our favorite hair accessories below. What summer hair styles are you excited to try? Let us know in the comments!

Get ready for your hottest summer ever with our favorite summer makeup looks! Whether you need ideas for a sexy date night makeup look or are heading to the beach but still want to look polished, we’ve pulled together some looks from our recent photoshoots to demonstrate how to get summer-hot without looking like you’re in the middle of a heat wave.

For a party night out, a graphic cat eye paired with glowy skin can’t be beat!

– Use a gel or pencil liner to create a bold cat eye shape on your upper eyelids (pro tip: use tape to help create a straight line, but be sure to touch the sticky side to the skin on your hand or arm to reduce the tackiness before putting it on the delicate skin around your eyes).

– A peachy highlighter brings warmth and shimmer to your cheekbones and helps camouflage any dewiness you might get from dancing on a hot summer night.

– Finish the look with a nude or coral shimmery lip gloss that flatters your skin tone and you’re ready to party!

A red lip is one of the most confident makeup looks you can wear this summer, which makes it perfect for a date night!

– To keep your eyes polished yet simple (so your pretty pout stays the focus), use an angled brush to push a deep brown eyeshadow into your lash line (pro tip: wet the brush with setting spray or water before putting it in the eyeshadow to enhance the pigment of the powder and give it more staying power). Using a powder can create a softer, more romantic look than a pencil or gel liner.

– Sculpt your face with a matte bronzing powder, lightly brushing it into the hollows of your cheekbones, along your hair and jawline and even into the creases of your eyelid to create dimension.

– Next, it’s red lip time! Make sure your lip look stays put by using a matching red lip liner before grabbing your lipstick. Trace the outline of your natural lip line and fill in your lips for a solid base. Then, top with a longwear red lipstick and be ready to wow!

Summer weddings call for a soft and sweet makeup look and this gold and rose look is perfectly romantic for celebrating!

– Start with a shimmery cream on your eyelids to create a base for a soft gold smoky eye. Once the cream has set, pat a gold eye shadow onto your eyelids and blend a bronze shimmer powder into the creases for a defined eye.

– Put some color on your cheeks with a sweet rosy blush, sweeping it lightly up your cheekbones, concentrating it on the apples of your cheek.

– Top the look off with rosy lip gloss and volumizing mascara to bring it all together (pro tip: make your lashes look even more lush by putting mascara on both sides by looking down and gently applying mascara on the back side of the lashes, making sure not to get any product on your eyelid). Now you’re ready to pop the champagne!

Going to the beach doesn’t require any makeup, but if you want to feel put together, this look is for you!

– First, put on your favorite SPF on your face and body to make sure you are protected from the sun. The best beauty tip is having beautiful, safe skin!

– Once your sun protection has set in, apply a light BB cream to your face and neck and apply a waterproof eyeliner to your lash line to even out your skin and make your eyes pop in any beach selfies you might take.

– If you want even more coverage and dimension, apply a cream bronzer or blush to your cheeks to lightly contour and bring some color to your face – much prettier than a sunburn!

– Finish off your beach beauty routine by applying a body oil in a heavenly scent on your legs, arms and chest for a pretty glow (pro tip: apply the oil to the ends of your hair to keep it looking shiny and smooth out on the beach).

There you have it! Some of our favorite summer makeup looks to keep you looking polished and pretty all summer long!

Looking for a go-to makeup look? We got you! We interviewed one of our favorite makeup artists, Ahna Ellis, to show us how she achieves the perfect summer look. Ahna creates makeup looks for all of our beautiful models daily, so we definitely trust her with all things beauty! Follow these three easy steps for a flawless face.

Prep: Ahna suggests starting with a clean face and prepping the skin with a moisturizing primer.

Once the skin is prepped, she advises starting with the eyes (before skin!) for more versatility and a cleaner look.

“To start off, I begin with a concealer base on the eyelid to help the shadow to last, and then I blend a neutral matte shadow into the eyelid using a fluffy blending brush,” says Ahna. “After I have my base shadow, I buff a darker matte shadow onto the crease to add definition to the eye. The shadows in this palette are perfect for building this look. If you’re wanting something a bit more fun, use a flat synthetic brush to pack a pop of sparkle in the center of the eye to catch the light. If I’m doing a sun-kissed bronze-y look, I love adding a pop of gold shadow to the lid!”

“For a fuller lash line, follow up your shadow by curling your lashes and using a volumizing mascara. A quick and simple trick to get lashes even fuller is to first coat lashes with a white priming mascara and let it dry for a few minutes before applying a volumizing formula in a dark color. This will lift, lengthen and plump the lashes to really open up those eyes!”

“Once the skin is prepped and the eyes are done, I usually buff foundation in with a flat top Kabuki brush. My favorite foundation brushes at the moment are the Japonesque complexion brushes. For more oily skin use a matte foundation formula to control shine, and for normal to dry skin, a luminous dewy finish works best to keep skin looking youthful and radiant. I then go in with a beauty blender to push the products into the skin to give it a beautiful airbrushed effect.”

“Once the foundation is set I use a concealer on the high points of the face such as under the eyes, the bridge of the nose, and the center of the forehead to brighten and highlight the face. For a sun-kissed look, I finish it off with a bronzer on the areas that would naturally see the sun. I love the NYX Medium Matte Bronzer as an affordable option to achieve that warm glow.”

And there you have it! Simple makeup that’s perfect and versatile for everyday wear and all this summer’s events. Check, please!
